Get to know Me

I began my journey as a street photographer, but filmmaking gave me the language to delve deeper, ask questions, challenge perceptions, and create an impact in society.

I completed my master's from the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication with a specialisation in Audio Visual. During  my course I shot a personal documentary : Moksha, a film reflecting the lives of the Dom People in Varanasi.

I have worked with production houses such as TheVibe Studios, Camera and Shorts, Studio Camphor, The Bombay Film Company and Dreamcatchers TV.

My roles included working as an Assistant Director/Producer for documentary series, branded campaigns, corporate films, platform-based content and social media marketing.

I’ve worked with creators and teams from Amazon Prime, Amazon miniTV, and Hotstar.

My debut personal documentary, Moksha, was shot in Varanasi and explores death, salvation, and caste through the lived experiences of the Dom community.

2019-2022

Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

I pursued a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Indraprastha University. Over the three-year course, I gained a foundational understanding of media through modules in camera work, radio production, advertising, public relations, and news writing.

Throughout my undergraduate program, I explored different facets of the media industry through internships with:

  • Times of India – gaining firsthand experience in online journalism and newsroom dynamics.

  • WOW (Women on Wanderlust) – a travel company where I contributed to digital content and communication.

  • Highbrooks Café –  I worked on brand storytelling and generating content for their social media.

As an active member of my college startup, Instant Bugle, I worked across multiple verticals — writing blogs, crafting press releases, organising photo walks, and creating short films. This space became a creative lab where I could experiment, collaborate, and hone my voice as a storyteller.

I'd rather die drunk, broke at 34 and have people at a dinner table talk about me!!!
